I used a word play about the Magi. Then, I used a quote by author Charles Dickens about the contrast of light and dark. Next, I talked about The Gift of the Magi short story.
In this week's RITE OF PASSAGE EXPERIENCES or ROPE, i talked about the Sesame Street version of The Gift of the Magi in1978. Then I talk about the sentimentality of the spirited effort behind gift-giving.
