I used a word play about Bedford Falls. Then, I used a quote by author Charles Dickens about life and usefulness. Next, I talked about the 1946 movie, It’s a Wonderful Life. In a clip, the angels discussed how to help George Bailey from being discouraged.
In this week's RITE OF PASSAGE EXPERIENCES or ROPE, I talked about It’s a Wonderful Life, the Christmas classic movie. George Bailey lost perspective on the impact of his life. George used his life to help others. I tried to use my life to help people understand my crutches. I tried to lead with faith in my uniqueness. I also mentioned scenes where George had a cumulative impact on his friends.
